Jatinder Pal Singh Marwaha

Jatinder Pal Singh Marwaha, MD, FACP, HMDC
Medical Director, Hospice

Dr. Marwaha is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hospice and Palliative Care, and Sleep Medicine. He received his Hospice Medical Director Certification (HMDC) from the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Currently, he is Vice Chief of Staff at San Ramon Regional Medical Center and is a part of the John Muir Health Network.

Dr. Marwaha received Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees, and completed a residency in internal medicine at Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana, Panjab, India; an internship in internal medicine from the University of Nevada School of Medicine Affiliated Hospitals; and a residency in internal medicine at San Joaquin General Hospital.


Epi DeLeon

Epi DeLeon, MD
Associate Medical Director

A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Dr. DeLeon is a member of the Medical Staff at John Muir Hospital in Walnut Creek where he serves on the Ethics Committee. He is Board certified in Internal Medicine and currently serves as vice president of Rossmoor Medical Associates in Walnut Creek.

Dr. DeLeon earned his medical degree from the University of Southern California, School of Medicine, Los Angeles, and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at St. Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco where he served on the Ethics Committee and completed End-of-Life Management training. He is fluent in Spanish.


Kuljeet K. Multani

Kuljeet K. Multani, MD, HMDC
Associate Medical Director

Board certified in palliative care and family medicine, Dr. Multani has been a palliative care consultant with ValleyCare Health System. She is currently employed with ValleyCare Medical Foundation as a primary care family medicine and palliative care physician. Before moving to the Pleasanton area, Dr. Multani was the director of Palliative Care Services at Lodi Memorial Hospital and also served as a hospitalist for adult patients.

Dr. Multani received her medical degree from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in Wardha, India; completed an internship in family medicine at State University of New York, Buffalo, NY; and completed a residency in family medicine at San Joaquin General Hospital in Stockton.
