Living With Dementia: Lewy Body & Parkinson’s

Hope Hospice is honored to host this presentation by Jim and Helen Whitworth, experts in Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson’s Disease. Their teachings are applicable for all dementias regarding non-drug interventions for dementia-related behaviors.

ABOUT THE PRESENTERS Jim Whitworth is the past President and Co-Founder of the Lewy Body Dementia Association (LBDA). Helen Whitworth, a retired RN, was named LBDA’s 2007 Volunteer Of the Year, and she publishes an award-winning blog, The Lewy Body Roller Coaster. 

The Whitworths have both been family caregivers, and they speak from experiences of having lost loved ones to dementia. They are recognized by the Alzheimer’s Association and were speakers at the 2019 International Lewy Body Dementia Conference. The couple have co-authored the following books, which will be available for purchase at the event:
