Living with Dementia: Enhancing Well-Being and Person-Centered Care

June 13 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

**** UPDATE 3/27/2020:   With the growing concern over the spread of coronavirus and in the interest of protecting the health and well-being of guests and staff, Hope Hospice has temporarily transitioned our family caregiver classes to virtual events via Zoom remote-conferencing. When you register for the following class, you will receive instructions on how to participate via Zoom.

We will evaluate the situation on a month-by-month basis. Please continue to watch this website for updates. If you have any questions, please contact our program manager Debbie Emerson at (925) 829-8770 or by email. ****

Much of the current research in dementia care indicates that a focus on the well-being of the person living with dementia can be an effective strategy to address behavioral symptoms. Caregivers will gain an understanding of how to assess, interpret, and respond to dementia-related behaviors in a manner that can help to promote meaningful connections.

To register, please complete the form below; you will receive a confirmation email. If you need help, email us.

There is no cost to attend, although donations to Hope Hospice are gratefully received and allow us to continue to offer this program to others.
