FAQ About Our Family Caregiver Education Series
Can I register for individual classes?
Yes. Participants may sign up for any or all classes. Registration is ongoing throughout the series. If you are attending multiple classes, you need to register for each one.
How much do the classes cost?
Hope Hospice does not charge for Family Caregiver classes; however, donations are greatly appreciated and help us continue to offer this service to the community at no cost.
Does my family member (care recipient) have to be “on hospice” for me to participate?
No. This program is designed for anyone who is caring for an elderly or chronically ill loved one.
Is this program open to professional (paid) caregivers?
This program is is tailored to the family caregiver and is not intended for the professional caregiver; Hope does not offer any certifications or continuing education credits.
When are the classes held?
Classes are held on one Saturday each month. Registration and light refreshments begin at 9:45 a.m. Classes will start promptly at 10 a.m. and are in session until noon. On most dates, an optional caregiver support group is available after class, from 12:15 to 1:45 p.m.; you are welcome to bring a bag lunch to group.
Where are the classes held?
All classes are held in the 2nd floor conference room at Hope Hospice, 6377 Clark Avenue, Dublin. An elevator is available to the right immediately upon entering the building. Free parking on-site.
I can’t take the classes on the dates offered. Are there plans to offer them again?
Yes. The same series of classes is offered each year.

Is there a registration deadline?
So that we may plan for class materials, we would appreciate it if participants register at least five days in advance of a class.
